Redesigned for 2024, the new Ford Mustang is a modern reinterpretation of the classic American muscle car. The updates incorporate contemporary elements while maintaining the Mustang’s iconic silhouette. Drivers all over Florida are lining up to take this redesigned Mustang out on the roads.

What’s New for the 2024 Ford Mustang?

For the 2024 model year, Ford has restyled all of the Mustang’s bodywork, apart from the roof and A-pillars, to give the pony car sharper lines. It still features elements of the original 1960s Mustang, including the signature tri-bar LED headlamps. Both available powertrains have been modified to increase output. The interior gets new larger displays as standard. The 2024 Ford Mustang model lineup also sees the addition of the new Dark Horse trim. A range of new packages, such as the Nite Pony Package, Wheel & Stripe Package, and Dark Horse Appearance Package, allows you to personalize your Mustang.

Powerful Engines

The redesigned engines in the 2024 Ford Mustang lineup offer more power and torque than previous models. Powering the EcoBoost trims is a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 315 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. It’s paired exclusively with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

GT models feature a 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 480 horsepower and 415 pound-feet. It comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, or you can opt for the 10-speed automatic. The brand-new Dark Horse features a naturally aspirated V-8, boosting output to a mighty 500 horsepower and 418 pound-feet of torque.

Exhilarating Performance

The Mustang offers mild-mannered everyday drivability, whether you’re doing the daily commute or heading out on a road trip. You can choose from a selection of custom drive modes, including normal, sport, slippery, track, and drag, to suit your mood or the driving conditions. It’s on the track, however, that this muscle car shows its true colors with a range of performance features to give you an adrenaline-fueled driving experience.

The electronic line-lock on the Mustang allows you to spin the rear wheels to warm the tires for better grip, while launch control gets you quickly off the line. A new class-exclusive drift brake ramps up the fun and exhilaration on every corner, and the manual transmission features rev matching for slicker downshifts. MagneRide adaptive dampers are standard on the Dark Horse and available on the other trims, enhancing ride smoothness and road handling.

With the EcoBoost engine, the Mustang can go from zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, while the GT’s V-8 gets to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. With its upgraded V-8, the Dark Horse hurtles from a standstill to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and hits the quarter-mile mark in 12.6 seconds. With the available active exhaust and Performance Pack, the Mustang’s times are even quicker.

Advanced Technology

The 12.4-inch digital instrument display and 13.2-inch center touchscreen offer 3D graphics for an immersive, customizable experience. The Track Apps system allows you to view your performance metrics in the instrument cluster. Sync technology gives you hands-free to your smartphone via Bluetooth, and you can access Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through the touchscreen or your voice. With the optional FordPass Connect, you can enjoy an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot, and access to Alexa Built-in is available on select trims.
