Ford Service

Getting routine maintenance for your car should be one of your priorities as a vehicle owner. You can get all kinds of Ford service at your local dealer, from a major service to small repairs here and there that are done as needed. Your Ford dealer can tend to any of your car’s needs, big or small, at any time of the year.

1. Headlight Replacement

Always keep an eye on your headlights so you’ll notice when they start flickering or getting dimmer. If either of those things happen, come straight to us, and will check on your headlights and replace the bulbs if needed. At regularly scheduled service visits, we’ll also check on your lights to make sure they’re working as effectively as they should be.

2. Filter Replacement

Your car has four filters in it: the oil filter, fuel filter, engine air filter, and cabin air filter. Over time, all of these get clogged up and become less effective. We’ll change these filters for you as needed. Generally, we’ll change them during your annual service. If you drive more than the average driver, then we may need to change your filters more often.

3. Oil Change

Oil changes are necessary at least once a year, and many cars need to have their oil changed every six months. When you stop by for an oil change, we’ll replace your old oil with fresh motor oil that’s compatible with your car and will optimize its performance. Make sure you check your oil level in between visits, and pay attention to the oil quality. If the oil is very dark, you’ll need to get it changed sooner rather than later.

4. Battery Check

When you visit us for an annual service, we’ll check on your battery’s health to see if it’s on its last legs. If it is, then we’ll replace it. If your battery starts feeling in between scheduled visits, then come straight to us so we can fit a new one for you. Signs that your battery is failing include difficulty starting the car, needing to jumpstart the car, and problems with your electronics.

5. Engine Diagnostic

Sometimes your car will start making funny noises or behaving strangely, and what’s wrong with it may not be obvious. Other times, your check engine light will turn on, but your car will still act fine. In both of these cases, you need to bring your car in for an engine diagnostic. Running a diagnostic allows us to efficiently figure out what’s wrong with your car and repair the problem accordingly. Stop by for a diagnostic any time something is wrong.
